Biography

Sarah Costello is a Manufacturing 4.0 Engineer at General Motors. In this role, she leads multiple projects focused on Real Time Locating Systems, Material Automation, and the Factory of the Future. Passionate about driving operations into the future, she has experience in optimizing supply chains, logistics, and manufacturing.

Sarah started her career after graduating from the University of Michigan in Industrial & Operations Engineering and worked for several years at Dow Inc. focused on reducing waste in supply chain operations. Looking to move back to the Detroit area, she joined General Motors two years ago and has found inspiration in sharing and deploying innovative solutions.

Sarah is excited to see how manufacturing is innovating at the beginning of her career and is looking forward to how it revolutionizes throughout her tenure.
