Biography

Dr Heiko Gierhardt holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Technology Munich. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Technology Berlin.

Heiko has worked as Project Manager and Head of Supplier Quality in Porsche, Head of Global Lean Program at Schaeffler AG and Head of Launch Management at Volkswagen Poznan. Since July 2018 Heiko has worked at Jaguar Land Rover as Director Launch in Global Purchasing and Operations.

From June 2022 Heiko has been the Fulfilment Director at Jaguar Land Rover. Heiko has led the way for designing, establishing and running a material fulfilment organization within an e2e Industrial Operations organization, owner of supply, analysing supply status in the “now near and far”, single source of truth of supply, driving x-functional problem solution with all partners in the supply chain, confirm supply for S&OP and S&OE.
