Biography

My name is Angel Fong, I have worked at Stanford University, for the School of Medicine, in the Office of Facilities Planning and Management(OFPM) department for the last 9 years. In my current role as the Assistant Director of Technology Services, I lead a team of talented professionals in delivering innovative technology solutions. Working closely with business leaders and end-users, we collaborate to identify key challenges and develop customized solutions to tailor users’ needs. Prior to Stanford, I worked at Hewlett Packard as a Project Manager leading global CRM projects across various functional and technical teams. My passion has always been creating solutions that actually can make tangible improvements in the quality of the users’ daily work.  And at Stanford, unlike Hewlett Packard, I have much more opportunity to experience firsthand my user’s day-to-day operational challenges and be able to have a direct influence to improve their work experience.

I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Accounting, and received a Master’s in Engineering Management at Santa Clara University. I enjoy hiking, cooking, and piano playing.
