EUROLAB is a non-profit trade association comprising 25 National Associations active in the conformity assessment field. Thanks to the expertise and experience of the national associations, EUROLAB unites a vast network of laboratories, inspection, certification and notified bodies. This strong foundation enables EUROLAB to maintain robust engagement with key stakeholders on both European and international levels, ensuring that the voice of conformity assessment is heard and represented.

EUROLAB supports laboratories by representing the European conformity assessment sector on political and technical levels, providing opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing with the key stakeholders, and contributing to important regulatory developments and sharing technical expertise through the publication of position papers, seminars, guidelines and many more.

Among the key priorities, EUROLAB focuses on supporting laboratories in their digital transformation journey, through projects dedicated to capacity building and sharing of best practices, developed within the Digitalisation Working Group. Moreover, EUROLAB also targets lab sustainability. This topic is discussed in the EUROLAB Sustainability Working Group which focuses on preparing guidelines for building sustainable strategies for laboratories.
