Biography

Kyle Jung is the CTO and co-founder of AHHA Labs, a smart factory solutions provider serving large manufacturing clients globally. As the CTO of AHHA Labs, Kyle has built the company’s core products from ground up, including the data management platform, DataCAMP, which boasts an incomparable advantage in scalability and stability even when dealing with a large volume of complex data critical to fast-paced mass-scale production lines. He also oversaw the design of the machine vision solution, LISA, to help clients address their trickiest vision inspection challenges that could not be addressed using the traditional AI vision tools or the cookie-cutter software solutions that come with smart cameras.

Kyle’s technical prowess encompasses all stacks of software engineering from backend infrastructure to firmware and middleware all the way to the application and service level thanks to his unique background: Kyle double majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at KAIST, Korea’s most prestigious engineering university. Before founding AHHA Labs, Kyle was recognized as the Staff Research Engineer at LG Electronics’ SIC Research Center for developing the audio firmware and the driver for digital TVs. At a startup prior to that, he developed the world’s first middleware for DVB-H in compliance with a European Mobile TV standard. As a co-founder of his first startup, TGNine, Kyle developed its key products, such as a big data collection and pre-processing solution, IoT data collection device, intelligent edge computing solution, etc.

Under Kyle’s leadership, AHHA Labs smart factory solutions are powering 100+ production lines across the globe connecting more than 3,500 inspection devices pumping in real-time data for continuous business insights that help save costs and increase yields.
