Biography

Dr. Daphne Hazell is the CEO of Home Wound Care, a specialized research service dedicated to advancing wound care and medical director of clinical research solutions, a small CRO for medical devices. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr. Hazell has been at the forefront of integrating innovative and evidence-based approaches to improve patient care. Her work included establishing a network of GP practices with 1.2 million patients to proactively bring primary care into research without engaging NIHR, and significantly contributing to the continuous improvement of real-life wound care practices. Dr. Hazell has a special interest in leveraging data and AI to enhance patient outcomes systems wide.
