Biography
Claire Stingley is an accomplished leader in strategic operations, currently serving as the Director of Laboratory & Facilities Operations at Ensoma, Inc. With extensive experience in biotech operations, Claire specializes in lab and vivarium management, capital asset oversight, and facility planning on a global scale. She has successfully led complex projects, including the expansion and integration of EU-based acquisitions, site buildouts and closures, and operational budgeting for multinational teams. Throughout her career, she has played a pivotal role in space and workflow planning, overseeing infrastructure evolution, equipment procurement and management, EH&S and Quality compliance, and emergency response. She has also driven improvements in inventory management, ELN/LIMS implementation, and cross-functional collaboration between diverse teams.
Prior to Ensoma, Claire managed buildouts at EdiGene Biotechnology USA, Inc. and Alloy Therapeutics, where she led transitions out of incubator facilities into full site operations.
Claire holds an M.A. in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University and a B.A. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania. A former captain of Beantown Rugby Football Club in the USA Women’s Premier League, she brings a dynamic, team-oriented approach to leadership and problem-solving.
